This is a drawing for a song conception that i have had stuck in my mind for a long time. The song is Ganges Ni Akai Bara (Red Roses on Ganges) by The GazettE. Done in charcoal

When i read the lyrics for this song, I imagined a girl who is as beautiful as a rose and frail at heart. No one is able to save this girl from her heartache and inability to continue living, so all that is left is to pray for this lost soul who has been used by countless people. She died in the place she grew up and called home as she gave up experiencing life's value. This girl was an old soul, tired of carrying through life without happiness.
The reoccurring theme in the song is that of a rose, and I wanted to show her relation to the rose with a red rose color in the photo.

I like the different composition you used in this. Also, I like the texture - is that due to the pencils or the paper? It looks like a stippled drawing...
